Spool Inventory

Filament libraryA
— spools on hand

How it links

Reference noteB
On the Estimate sheet, the type / color field on each filament row is linked to this inventory: type a name that matches a spool, or use Pick to choose one. Cost auto-fills.

When you Stamp & Archive an estimate, grams used are deducted from the linked spools. Spools below 50 g are flagged as low. A consumption forecast (based on your last 30 days of archived prints) shows when each spool will run out.

Printers

Workshop fleetA
— printers configured

How it links

Reference noteB
On the Estimate sheet, Pick printer selects which printer this quote is for. That printer's wattage, hourly rate, throughput, and multi-color overhead drive the calculation.

The active selection is per-device — different members of a group can default to different machines. The list of printers is shared across the group.

Products

Saved templatesA
— products in catalog

How it links

Reference noteB
A product is just a saved snapshot of the Estimate sheet — description, notes, target price, printer, print time, filaments, add-ons, and bill of materials.

To create one: fill out the Estimate sheet on layer 01, then click Save as new product. To re-use one: come back here and click Edit on the catalog entry — the Estimate sheet loads with everything pre-filled, and an EDITING PRODUCT banner appears so you can Update product after making changes, or Stamp & Archive a one-off quote.

The per-product Print button generates a workshop spec sheet — printer, time, filaments to load, BOM checklist — for use when you actually make the item.

Account & Group

Sync & sharingA

You're in Local mode — spools, archive, and defaults live only in this browser. Sign in to sync across devices and share with family/coworkers using the same printer.

Estimate factors

Used when a model-only 3MF is dropped (no slicing data). Defaults are PLA on a typical FDM printer.

Throughput and multi-color time overhead live on each printer in layer 03.

Marketplace

Fee deductionC

When set, listing & payment-processing fees are subtracted from the estimated price to show "Net to you" — what you actually keep after the platform takes its cut.

Cost Formula

Reference noteE
filament = Σ ( grams ÷ 1000 × $/kg )
electricity = ( watts ÷ 1000 ) × hours × $/kWh
machine = hours × printer's $/hr
labor = ( labor min ÷ 60 ) × labor $/hr
bom = Σ ( qty × unit $ )
subtotal = filament + electricity + machine + labor + packaging + bom
failure = subtotal × failure %
margin = ( subtotal + failure ) × margin %
price = subtotal + failure + margin + shipping

fees = listing + price × txn % + price × payment % + payment flat
net = price − fees
